Rested Heart

The "rested heart" is the heart's search for peace and tranquility. By sharing here I hope to do just that and when others share here via their comments, the effect is magnified.

My daughter was diagnosed in December 2010 with cancer (Wilm's tumor) that has turned my life upside down.

A video that Sereen’s cousin Mahdi Sahloul made for her to go along with our fundraising efforts for the CureSearch cancer walk in Chicago on September 10th.  Video is called “Sereen’s Journey”.  It is the story of her fight with cancer.  Mahdi, a sophomore in high school made this on his own and for that I am grateful.
