If you have been following my blog, you will know that since last December, when my daughter Sereen was diagnosed with a stage III Wilms tumor (a type of kidney cancer), I have been sharing the journey me and my family have been on. I am blessed to be able to say that after radiation treatment and completion of a 6 month chemo regiment, her cancer is in remission.
As is typical to many who are touched by cancer, one immediately becomes an advocate for cancer and its victims. In this spirit, my family and I will be participating in the CureSearch cancer walk.
